These types of converters are known as non-linear loads, characterized by their absorption of non-sinusoidal currents and their operation under a degraded power factor. However, these converters are considered as the main source of injection of harmonic currents. The purpose of this end-of-studies project is to improve the quality of the electrical energy supplying a polluting load using a parallel active power filter based on the control of the p-q powers. This method ensures good control of the DC/AC converter characterizing this filter. The effectiveness of the latter has been successfully evaluated by the MATLAB/Simulink software where the results obtained are very acceptable.frStatic converter, Nonlinear load, Parallel active filter, p-q control, Power quality, Total harmonic distortion.Étude et Simulation du Filtrage Actif Parallèle Basé sur la Méthode des Puissances p-qThesis
