The study focused in this research on the effect of using the school theater, according to
the graduation note to obtain a master’s degree in the field of Arabic language and literature,
specializing in modern and contemporary literature, and called educational theater and its role
in developing the reading skills of the child. The educational educational activities practiced
by children in their schools under the supervision of teachers within the department in a fun
and interesting template, as it contributes to the proper upbringing and upbringing of children.
This study aims to know the role of theatrical activity in developing the reading skill of the
child. The introduction was entitled The Origin and Development of the Child Theatre. The
first chapter is entitled the educational theater and its role in developing the language skills of
the child. In it, we dealt with the educational theater and its impact on childhood, as well as
the language skills of the child, especially reading.
As for the second chapter, it was devoted to the applied side about the play "I Will Fly
One Day", in which the subject was studied and the technical elements of the theater, its
techniques and objectives, and this research was crowned in the end with a conclusion that
contained the most important results reached.
