Study summary The Algerian novel was unique in the literary arena with characteristics that distinguished it from its Arabic counterpart, through the simulation of Algerian writers in their works of the reality that they are in constant struggle with, and among the most important Algerian creators we find "Izzedine Jalawji" in his novel "E and the Travels of Ishtar", through which we were transported in the search journey The human being about himself and his being that has been degraded, so this narration was like a blatant voice against the corruption, injustice and slavery that humankind has reached over the years, an invitation from him to elevate himself and unleash and rebellion against all that exercises his power over us in terms of customs, traditions and politics, so this text was a mixture of worlds Myth and reality are what makes the reader dive into the depths of the text and its characters without forgetting the advantage of the multiplicity of places and their connotations, which enters the recipient into a spatial adventure, and a return to the past that settled in the present, which increased the dynamism and vitality of the text.
