Summary: -The study dealt with a topic : thes basic factors in teaching linguistic skills - first year of intermediate education a model. - Linguistic skills are defind as accumulated capabilities through Which a specific task can be carried out with a high degree of proficiency, and these linguistic skills are : "Listening, speaking, reading, writing", it came in this order due to the nature of the individual's linguistic performance, as the study sought to identify the factors and foundation upon which teaching these skill to leamer is based. So that he can perfarn the in the right way .and they were presented in a detailed for each skill. The study dealt with these skill in a extensive manner and followed the identification its concept, typees and the effective role of the teacher in teaching it, and the abjectives by that each skill achives. As for the field study, it was about languistic skills in the first year of intermediate education, By counting the percentages through a questionmane and placing its results in a table and commenting on its items.
