A workflow engine is a software application that helps organizations initiate and
automate tasks. It manages and monitors activities in a workflow and determines which task to jump to based on predefined processes. It is usually a key component of business process management software, which helps organizations streamline processes by distributing tasks and
communicating data to employees and management.
A workflow engine offers organizations many benefits, including:
Increased efficiency. Automating time-consuming tasks frees employees to focus on their core business.
Increased responsibilit : Employees can see what they are supposed to do and when important deadlines need to be met. It also increases job satisfaction.
