The issue of state sovereignty over its natural resources is one of the traditional issues raised in international law, but it still raises interest and controversy, not in the relationship between the countries that have the age of natural resources with the former major industrial colonial countries, but with neighboring countries from the developing countries, but within the framework of the state itself. Natural resources, which is what makes the subject renewed. The principle of state sovereignty over its natural resources continues to raise many problems, especially after its inclusion in the framework of international environmental law. The limited Arab studies that dealt with the subject of our research is another motive to address this subject. One of the reasons that prompt us to address this issue is the great importance of natural resources, This importance derives mainly from its position in international trade and development, especially for developing countries, after the recognition of the state's freedom to exploit its natural resources, but after the environmental damage that occurred, the international community had to restrict this principle to the protection of the environment.
