تعتبر الرّواية من أهمّ أشكال التّعبير في الأدب العربي، وقد خاض عبرها أصحابها غمار التّجريب الفنّي، وذلك من خلال توطين معالم الأدبية والجمالية كاختيار العناوين المكثّفة والرّامزة إلى مقصدية خطابية معيّنة، إضافة إلى رصد صورة المرأة التي أراد الرّوائي أن يحيل بها إلى تشابك القضايا الكبرى، كما عمد الرّوائيون إلى توظيف شخصيات معيّنة عبّروا من خلالها عن القضايا الأنثوية والصّراع الدّائم بين الرّجل والمرأة، وبخاصّة رواية عرس الزّين للطيّب صالح الذي أراد من خلال روايته تلك إلى اعتماد عنصر التّلميح في رصد صورة المرأة، وهكذا أراد الرّوائي أن يجعل من المرأة مركزا لا هامشا. الكلمات المفتاحية: الرّواية، صورة المرأة، الجمالية، المركز والهامش، الصّراع. The novel is considered one of the most important forms of expression in Arabic literature, and through it its authors have delved into artistic experimentation, by localizing literary and aesthetic features such as choosing intense titles that symbolize a specific rhetorical purpose, in addition to monitoring the image of the woman whom the novelist wanted to refer to the intertwining of major issues. Novelists also employed specific characters through which they expressed feminine issues and the constant conflict between men and women, especially the novel The Wedding of Zein by Tayeb Salih, who wanted, through his novel, to adopt an element of allusion in monitoring the image of women.
