لقد أقر المجتمع الدولي الحماية الجنائية لعناصر النقل البحري خاصة السفينة باعتبارها أهم هده العناصر، وأقر لها مركز قانوني يختلف من منطقة الي أخري في المناطق البحرية. ثم عمل على اتخاذ المزيد من تدابير الحماية لمواجهة الجرائم في أعالي البحار ومن أهمها جريمة القرصنة وجريمة الاتجار الغير المشروع بالمخدرات والمؤثرات العقلية وكذلك جريمة الاتجار بالبشر، وحدد مسؤولية ضبط ومحاكمة مرتكبي تلك الجرائم بتوزيع الاختصاص القضائي على جميع الدول للنظر فيها. الكلماتالمفتاحية: الحماية الجنائية، أعالي البحار، القرصنة، الاختصاص القضائي. Abstract: the international community has approved criminal protection for elements of maritime transport, especially the ship, as it the most important of these elements, and has approved a legal status for it that varies from one region to another in maritime. Then he worked take more protection measures to comfort crimes on the high seas, the most important of which are the crime piracy and the crime of illicit trafficking in narcotics and psychotropic, and so on the crime of human trafficking and it also clarified the responsibility to arrest and prosecute the perpetrators of these crimes by distributing the jurisdiction to all countries to look into them.
