تناول هذا البحث مفهوم الجملة التي أحيطت بإهتمام من طرف النحوين القدامى الذين اختلفت آرائهم حول تحديد مفهومها و أقسامها، حيث أنه هناك من فرق بينهما أما بالنسبة للأقسام فإنهم اعتمدوا على ثلاثة أقسام : (من يحث صدرها/ من حيث الموقع الإعرابي /من حيث الغرض )، ولا ننسى طبعا اهتمامات المحدثين الذين اختلفت كذلك آرائهم حول الجملة سواء من حيث المفهوم أو الأقسام حيث أنهم اعتمدوا في تقسيميهم على عدة معايير و لعل أوفاها تقسيم الدكتور أحمد نحلة، الذي قسم الجملة حسبه إلى ثمانية معايير، و دون أن ننسى كذلك جهود اللسانيات الغربية (اللسانيات البنيوية الوصفية - اللسانيات الوظيفية - اللسانيات التوليدية التحويلية ) في تحديد مفهوم الجملة. - الكلمات المفتاحية: مفهوم الجملة، القدامى ، المحدثين . Abstract : This researchdealtwith the concept of the sentenc،whichwassurrounded by the attention of the ancientgrammarians،whose opinions differedregardingdefiningits concept and its divisions، as therewerethosewhodifferentiatedbetweenthem. As for the divisions،theyrelied on three divisions: (fromwhereitbegins / fromwhere the grammatical position is / fromwhere the syntaxis)and of course we must not forget the interests of the modernists،whose opinions alsodifferedregarding the sentence،whether in terms of concept or divisions، as theyrelied in their divisions on severalcriteria، and perhaps the mostcomprehensive of themwas the division of Dr. Ahmad Nahla،whodivided the sentence according to himintoeightcriteria. andlet's not forget the efforts of Western linguistics (descriptive structural linguistics،functionallinguistics، and transformationalgenerativelinguistics) in defining the concept of the sentence Keywords: concept of the sentence، ancients، moderns.
