Ce mémoire explore l’utilisation de la chanson comme outil pédagogique pour développer la compétence orale en classe de FLE au niveau moyen en Algérie. Il montre comment la chanson, en tant que support motivant et authentique, peut améliorer la compréhension et l’expression orales des apprenants, enrichir leur vocabulaire et renforcer leur prononciation. À travers une analyse du manuel de 4e année moyenne et des propositions d’activités didactiques, cette étude met en évidence l’intérêt d’intégrer la chanson dans l’enseignement du français langue étrangère. Mots clés : chanson, compétences orales, motivation, authenticité, français langue étrangère Abstract This thesis explores the use of songs as a pedagogical tool to develop oral skills in French as a Foreign Language (FLE) classes at the middle school level in Algeria. It demonstrates how songs, as motivating and authentic materials, can enhance students’ speaking abilities, enrich their vocabulary, and improve pronunciation. Through an analysis of the 4th year middle school textbook and suggested teaching activities, the study highlights the importance of integrating songs into French language instruction.
