Prospection et identification de la zone humide "chott el frain" sétif

Abstract

Abstract The objective of this study is the identification of biological variables (flora) and the variables of an edaphic nature (salinity, texture, gypsum, limestone) which determine the distribution of the vegetal communities. The floristic, ecological and phytoecological study in the wetland of Chott El Frain located in City Tella and Beida Bordj wilaya of Setif, of has allowed identifying 22 species belonging to 19 gender and 10 families while the most represented is that of the chenopodiaceae (27%).Dominated by Sahara-Mediterranean elements (18,18%) , this flora is morphologically characterized by the dominance of herbaceous perennials (59.1%) and biologically by therophytes (40,9%). the presence of endemic species in North Africa (Frankenia thymifolia , Herniaria mauritanica ) and rare rare (Frankenia leavis, Salicornia arabica) species makes the largest area, while the presence of the species Peganum harmala indicates that there is overgrazing in the area. biotope of Chott el frain gypsum is very salty and a medium texture that varies sandy loam to sandy loam. The interpretation by the AFC, AHC and AFC vegetation and the ground has clarified the affinities between the different taxa. This multidimensional treatment highlights the importance of human and bioclimatic factors governing the floristic composition of this wetland.
