In this study, nanoparticles of copper oxide (CuNPs) and cobalt oxide (CoNPs) were synthesized green using the extract of Peganum harmala used as a reducing and stabilising agent due to its richness in phytochemicals, flavonoids and polyphenols. The synthesis was confirmed by characterization techniques such as UV-Visible and Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR). The results obtained demonstrate the effectiveness of Peganum harmala as a bioreducing agent in the eco-friendly synthesis of metal nanoparticles, while conferring them with potential antioxidant properties for biomedical applications.
