Abstract
Our thesis isdividedinthreeparts,thefirstpartconsistsinsolvingthesecondpartofthe
extended 16thHilbertproblemforaclassofdiscontinuouspiecewisedifferentialsystems.The
second partfocusesonfindingthemaximumnumberoflimitcyclesofsmallamplitudewhichis
called thecyclictyproblem,andthethirdpartwewereabletofindtheglobalphaseportraitsand
the bifurcationsetsforsomespecificfamiliesofdiscontinuouspiecewisequadraticdifferential
systems, characterizedbyhavingapseudo-centreattheorigin
