| dc.description | The main objective of this course is to provide students with a solid understanding of the fundamental concepts, technologies, and architectures that define the Internet of Things. By the end of the course, students will be able to identify key IoT components, understand how connected systems operate, and explore various applications in domains such as healthcare, smart cities, industry, and automation. The course also aims to introduce students to communication protocols, data acquisition, and the challenges related to interoperability, and intelligent processing in IoT systems. The rapid growth of the IoT is made possible by advances in low-power electronics, wireless communications, and cloud computing. These technologies enable the design of innovative environments where objects can interact autonomously and contextually, allowing for seamless integration. Mastering these technological building blocks is the first step toward implementing effective and scalable IoT applications | |
