The objective of this work is the contribution in the preservation and development of one of the main salty wetlands in the region of high Algerian eastern plains "Sebkhet Bazer," on one hand, and the determination of the relationship between biological variables (vegetation) and physicochemical parameters of the soil on the other hand. Having identified the main characteristics that determine the ecological context of the site, physicochimicals analyzes of soil and plant inventories were performed. In the second step, the AFC (Factorial Correspondence Analysis) was applied to all data to highlight the links that develop between biological variables (flora) and edaphic variables (salinity, pH, texture, gypsum, limestone) that would be used in future work tools to enable a better understanding of the natural vegetation that present in our study area. The study show that different plant communities are distributed in vegetation belts according to the physicochemical characteristics of the soil, so they have different ecological affinities, we can find hyperhalophytes, psammophytes, halophytes, as well as the gypsohalophytes, species favored by silt and other by limestone. In conclusion, Sebkhet Bazer consists of a very diverse floristic reflecting the diversity of physical and chemical parameters of the soil.en_US
