Extraction et caractérisation physico-chimique de l’huile des noyaux de dattes (Ghars, Deglat-Nour, Meche-Degla

Abstract

The aim of this study is to extract date kernel oil for three varieties of Algerian date kernels (Ghares,Daglet –Nour and Mech-Deglat) by Soxhlet. We studied the morphology of the cores (length,drop and weight),the moisture content of each date kernel varite,and the physicochemical characteristics of the oils (acedity, peroxyde index, UV). The results showed that the date kernel oil could be valorized in various fields (Pharmaceutical,cosmetic and food) . Mech-Degla is cheaper date,less consumed and rich in fat so it’s valuation is an economic gain.
