Abstract

The technologytransfercontractisvery important to reduce the differencebetweendeveloping countries and developed countries in the field of technology،whichprompteddeveloping countries to concludethesecontracts to reduce the discrepancybetweenthem. Contracts، restrictive conditions، and the monopoly of technology by the supplier،whichprevented the technologicalmastery of developing countries. Thus،thisstudydealtwith the concept of the technologytransfercontract،through the definition of the contract، and the statement of itscharacteristics، types and legal nature. Preparatory course during the course of the negotiations، as well as the stage of contracting and throughwhichweexplained the elements of the contract and its structure. The studyalsoapproached the legaleffects of the transfer of technology agreement by demonstratingdetailed obligations of parties to contractwhethersolely or combined in addition to penalties due to breaching respective obligations،settlementmethods of disputes arisingfrom the contractincluding expert opinion، arbitration، and litigation and finallyidentifying the applicable law to disputes.
