dc.description.abstractThis thesis entitled "Injection of photovoltaic energy into the electrical grid", details the connection of a photovoltaic generator to the electrical grid via a DC/DC converter to track the point of maximum power (MPPT), using the perturbation and observation (P&O) technique, a hysteresis-controlled inverter to inject active power into the grid with unity power factor, and an RL filter to minimize current harmonics. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the P&O method in optimizing the photovoltaic energy produced regardless of variations in climatic conditions (irradiation and temperature), and the effectiveness of the inverter control in stabilizing the DC voltage at the desired value (600V), injecting power into the grid with unity power factor and THD below 5%.
